“Nearly eight centuries ago, a great adventure began that continues to this day”. 
Torun is a city with a rich history where the present meets the past. It is the birthplace of the great astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus, the crooked tower, medieval fortifications, lovely views and the ever-present gingerbread.
Now is your chance to uncover its extraordinary spirit on a tour organised by the AMU Welcome Centre!
The programme features a city walk with a local guide, a visit to the market square with its historic Gothic town hall, the Nicolaus Copernicus statue, and a trip to the city walls with preserved gates.
